Brand Videos
A brand video is content created to build a brand’s identity, values, or emotional connection with an audience, as opposed to a direct-response commercial built to drive an immediate action. Brand videos are typically longer-form (60 seconds to several minutes), narrative or documentary-style, and distributed on owned channels (website, YouTube, social) as often as through paid media.
Common uses:
Introducing a new product or brand positioning
Building emotional connection around a mission or values
Supporting a launch or campaign moment
Serving as anchor content that shorter social cuts are pulled from
A brand video is often the centerpiece of a broader campaign.
What goes into producing one: concept development, a creative treatment, location scouting, casting or talent booking, a production shoot, and post-production (editing, color, sound, motion graphics). Timeline and cost scale with ambition. An international shoot with a larger cast and crew costs and takes meaningfully more than a local shoot with a small crew.
Ambition Studios’ brand video work:
Between The Mountains” for Hours (clothing brand): filmed on location in Iceland.
Professor Fresh” for Bevel (men’s grooming and personal-care brand).
Hair & Beard”: a 30-second spot for Bevel’s hair and beard product line.
The Quiet Issue” for Lucid Monday (music magazine): featuring acting by Canadian music producer WondaGurl.
Tomato Through Time” for Sunset Grown (produce grower and distributor): an online campaign that won multiple awards.
